On July 1 2019 the Queensland Government introduces a new waste levy, that will be applied to all solid and regulated wastes disposed of to landfill. Commencing at $75 per tonne for general waste and higher for regulated wastes, this legistlative change is the most significant event to impact the sector in the states history.
